As with most Monday mornings it's was a bt of a slog to get into gear, and I'd fully intended to blog something new today. I'd loaded up my Nexus with a ton of stuff i'd acquired over the weekend, and yet somehow I was constantly drawn back to this amazing amazing track:
Mathias Ache & Mule – Sonnette (Jules & Alex Q re-edit)
It's essentially a rework of an original Mathias & Mule track by Alex Q and his lady friend Jule. They've taken the original which is a simple straight ahead jacking house track and turned it into a beautiful blissed out deep roller. I don't want to witter on too long, because i really do know sod all past the fact the track is utterly amazing. It starts out very slow, and builds gradually, with the dreamy ghost like vocals holding the interest, and the Guitar and Rhodes creating atmosphere, then about 3.30 in it absolutely kicks off. It's the kind of track that you'd start a big room set with, slow and building in the most epic of ways until it absolutely launches into the stratosphere. Expect to hear it in some of my sets/mixes soon.
Anyway, enough crap from me, it's been out for a few months, came out on Jeahmon in September last year i think and it's a belter and i’m pleased i rediscovered it……. enjoy.
