It seems like we’ve said goodbye to a lot of musical legends this year, and once again we find ourselves bidding farewell to an all time great icon in David Bowie.
You can say what you want but he remained creative till the last , able to re-invent himself artistically without ever compromising his integrity, in fact I’m struggling to think of a music genre he hasn’t had a major influence on.
As long as I can remember he has been there, either creating music or having his old music re-worked to meet the new scenes requirements, so I’m going to go with one of those today in the Duff disco Re-work of Fame, which is one of my all time favourite tracks by Bowie and also one of my favourite re-edits of the last few years.
It’s basically a dubbed out version of the track, worked in a way that allows it to build element by element until the original track is exposed, as a nice little gesture Duff Disco has made it available as free download, so grab it while you can.
I’ll leave it there, as there are far better writers eulogising about Bowie; enjoy
