First stumbled upon Ada's 2011 LP Meine Zarten Pfoten. In all honesty, when it first dropped it completely blew my fragile little mind. Just in how experimental it was alongside how polished it was. One of the problems with what I'd classify experimental music is it tends to lack some of the basics for the need to push the boundaries, I guess the word I'm looking for is a balance.
Regardless, it doesn't really matter, the point is Ada Meine Zarten Pfoten was an LP that captivated me a lot. Don't get me wrong it wasn't always an easy listen but when it worked it worked supremely well and the melodic content of the music coupled with Ada's vocals just sucked me in. In honesty, though I then fell out of touch with what Ada was doing, dipping in here and there until recently I picked up on "…And More" and was once again totally blown away. The simple Orbital-esque melodies, coupled with Ada's ethereal vocals that make you wonder is it a song or an instrumental (answer is it's kind of both) and it's lovely relaxing listen. Enjoy.
